    We experienced two fantastic weeks at Casa Maestra. It started with the warm welcome and explanation by Wiep. The house is very tastefully decorated. All the necessary things are there. The wood stove made it warm and cosy inside. There was enough wood. Make sure it keeps burning, of course. From the house and the terrace you can enjoy magnificent views of rugged nature, almond and olive trees. In the immediate vicinity you can make beautiful walks. Our dog Piet had a great time. Wiep and Kees were very friendly and helpful with suggestions on excursions and addresses for good food. (They always turned out to be right) We have firmly resolved to come back. To Casa Maestra or with our children to Casa Milan. We are already looking forward to it.

    Our predecessors already wrote what a special place Juseu is on our globe. So quiet, such peace and the beautiful views from Casa del Maestro and especially from the mountain. We had another unforgettable week. This was our third visit to Juseu. But the most special one. We knew through our previous visits of Wiep's creativity with textiles and her beautiful studio, the school. In March 2025, we asked her if she would make a wall decoration for us. She said yes and after exchanging ideas about colour, size, materials and atmosphere, we came to an agreement and she set to work. An exciting time began. During that time, we received detail photos from Wiep of the work in progress. We booked Casa Maestro for a week in October to collect the canvas. How impressive was the first encounter with the canvas! Now it hangs in our home in the Netherlands. In a beautiful spot and we see it every day. It is beautiful. With many thanks to Wiep and Kees.

    Casa del Maestro was 'masterful' in every way: the surroundings were beautiful and varied, the views from the terrace priceless, the house tasteful and comfortable, the hosts (m/f) heartwarming and the atmosphere downright good and inspiring. We had a superb holiday there and we heartily recommend it to anyone who loves nature and tranquillity (and authentic villages and the occasional larger town).
