This nature cottage has a very nice location on the edge of a large farmyard. You will enjoy optimal peace and privacy and there is a beautiful view over the meadows with pollard willows and woods in the background. The place has been frequently praised for its spectacular sunsets. The cottage has central heating. The layout comprises a separate entrance hall, living room with open wood-burning stove and large French doors, open plan kitchen diner, two comfortable bedsteads and a bathroom with shower, toilet and underfloor heating. The 1st box bed offers ample space for two people, the 2nd for one. The kitchen is fully equipped, including induction hob, combination oven, cooking utensils, coffee machine and fridge with freezer compartment. There is no dishwasher. The cottage is non-smoking.
The Achterhoek is well known for its scenic landscape, a beautiful alternation of woods, meadows, streams and country roads. A great environment for walking and cycling where your starting point is centrally located within "the eight castles route". Also, the "Pieterpad" is close by. Fun places with an old city centre, nice shops and cosy terraces to visit are Zutphen (15 kilometres), Doesburg (14 kilometres), Deventer (25 kilometres), Lochem (8 kilometres), Bronckhorst (10 kilometres).
